Currently off the road after replacing the engine (nothing wrong with the original apart from every gasket leaking copious quantities of oil!). Can't afford to insure or tax the car at the moment until I sell my 99GL.
Needs body work to make it look as good as it should.
"Found" in a garage in 2003, it hadn't moved since 1989. Took a year and a half to get it back on the road. Used for a couple of years until the engine was leaking so much oil that I had to change it. The engine and gearbox were the only bits not touched during its return to the road.
Future plans are to get the car back on the road, and repair the heavily rusted doors. The tailgate is from a 900 so needs converting to look like a 99 again. Looks a bit sad really :(
