I believe the friend I'm buying the car from bought it from the original owner. It had never been driven in salted snow conditions so it is rust free! Years ago it was restored from the ground up to a 16 valve inter-cooled turbo engine, '92 C-900 suspension with SPG springs, 15" rims and even SPG interior! It was then repainted in the original Dark Blue however right now it needs another paint job as the roof, hood and trunk lid have some sun damage.
HistoryWhen I took the car over the front seats had been removed so I found a near perfect pair of Dark Grey pre-'91 SPG seats which have been installed as well as a set of Super Aero 16" wheels with 205-50 tires. We also switched out the '85 APC box that was originally used for one of the few '85 ones that Dr. Erik P. was able to upgrade to one of his full Stage II units. Next will be installing a set of Intrax lowering springs as the SPG springs have too harsh of ride and then re-sanitizing under the hood as the car has been stored for a long while then of course the re-painting.
Personal NotesMy favorite Saab body style has always been a 99 two door with their cute little trunk from the day I saw my first one however it may have been party because of the gorgeous lady that was driving it!
